Dear friends,
The Chinese Church of Larchmont will organize one of its largest community outreaches of the year this Friday, Jan 20th from 5-8 pm. More than 2 billion people celebrate Lunar New Year around the globe this weekend. The Chinese church organizes a Lunar New Year celebration at their church at 1127 Surrey Crescent in Norfolk (same building as Crossroads Church).
Chinese community members from this area (college faculty, college staff, international students, visiting scholars, and families) attend this event. If you plan to come, please make an RSVP Dr. Gene Hou at ghou@odu.edu.We encourage you to bring and invite your Chinese friends to attend this event.
This event will be conducted in Mandarin and it includes praise and worship in Chinese, a meal, video screening (the video is also in Mandarin), and a social gathering. This event is to build friendships with our Chinese community and to pray for this outreach.
