“I know that we have had the Chesapeake Fellowship for over ten years now, but what is going on in North Suffolk?”
More of our members are asking this question and the best way to sum it up is that we believe that God is leading us to begin a new work in Suffolk. Much like the believers in the first churches heard the Macedonian call (Acts 16:6-10), our members are beginning to sense a call to reach those in this section of Hampton Roads. We are serving in a manner similar to the ministry of Chesapeake as we begin with a core group of First Norfolk members and other like-minded individuals to begin Community groups. We pray that this will grow in time to become a Fellowship (or church) that serves as an extension of our church within a few short months.
