GOOD NEWS - JAIL & PRISON MINISTRY
LOOK BEHIND THE WALLS This is a one hour informational tour of the Hampton Roads Regional Jail. You will meet Jail Officers, Staff and maybe even an inmate or two. Myths will be dispelled and your knowledge of what really takes place behind the walls will be increased. Questions will be answered and you will get an idea of what the Chaplain, volunteers, officers and inmates do on a daily basis. You will have a better understanding of the past, present, and future of Good News Jail & Prison Ministry. MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES Male volunteers. Two to distribute literature on Thursday mornings. Cell to cell visitation for men. Two areas have no one ministering at all. PEACH DROP
Your organization is invited to participate in our SOSA/Tidewater Gleaning Peach drop. The Tidewater area will be receiving a load of Peaches, Saturday, August 31, 2013 at: Sam’s Club Parking Lot (off battlefield blvd) 1501 Sam’s Circle Chesapeake, VA 23302 Distribution will begin at 7:00 a.m. You are welcome to pick up Sweet Peaches for your church or organization.
