Good morning,

The Office to End Homelessness is looking for volunteers to assist with water outreach throughout the city. As you all know it is offcially summer and it is very hot outside. For those of you who are interested in participating during these hot times feel free to contact the Office to End Homelessness via email or by phone (757)-664-4488 with the days and times that you are available.

It's Sweet Potato Time again!!!! Your Invited to participate in Our Sweet Potatoes drop at The Hampton Coliseum Convention Center.

Distribution will begin at 7:00 a.m. Saturday June 22, 2013

All Produce is free:

If your organization would like to pick up Please respond to this e-mail With the name of Your organization,

The Desired amount (Pounds) you would like to pick up.

IE; One pick up Truck weighs between 1200-1500 pounds. Many Organizations pick up 1500-2500 pounds for their pantries or outreach. Potatoes are in mesh bags for easy distribution. Thanks again for all your hard work, To God Be The Glory!!!

Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity

For anyone who is interested in Volunteering with the Habitat for Humanity Projects - there is an Orientation Meeting you are Required to take. They are having one tomorrow morning at their Office - 900 Tidewater Drive (corner of Virginia Beach Blvd and Tidewater Drive) Norfolk, VA 23504 at 9am - also check out their website http://shrhabitat.org/. If you can't make it to tomorrows meeting - do not worry, Orientations are held every first Saturday of the Month at 9am at their Office. Live The Mission!
